Something needs to be done about immigration

This just takes the cake:

There are 41,000 people that Canada wants to deport but cannot find, Auditor-General Sheila Fraser announced Tuesday in her latest report on the efficiency of government operations.

"Due in part to a lack of exit controls, there is a growing number of individuals whose whereabouts are unknown and who might remain in Canada illegally, thereby jeopardizing the integrity of the program," said the Auditor-General's office in the report.

The inability of the Canada Border Services agency to keep a tight rein on people who are in Canada illegally was just one of several deficiencies highlighted by the auditor in the wide-ranging document that covered seven investigations and an overview of examinations of Crown corporations.

This is an abomination and part of the reason why at least 95% of all crime in Canada is committed by immigrants (particularly in Toronto, Montréal and Vancouver).

It's not enough that of all the immigrants Canada takes in every year, only 23% actually are decent folks, while the other 73% cost us $18 billion a year (!) – money that could be used to eliminate tuition fees for everyone, for example, instead of shoving it down the throats of bums, criminals, terrorists and other human scum. No, we also have to hunt down at least 41,000 illegals who have gone underground.

This can be explained by the fact that way too many immigrants are employed in immigration and border services. Many of them have been in Canada for barely a few years, and their loyalties are usually with the old country, rather than with Canada. Too often, these "moles" close their eyes to criminal records of applicants, because they happen to be compatriots from the old country, and let them slip through.

Canada hit two icebergs – Trudeau and then Mulroney – and has been taking on water ever since, causing the ship to sink.

Canada does need immigrants, but only the good kind, i.e., those who work hard, speak English and/or French and actually contribute to tomorrow's healthcare and pension funds. On current form, however, we're digging ourselves an ever deeper hole (by $18 billion every year), and instead of shoring up our future, we're actively destroying Canada's future prosperity – actually, most of today's economic woes are caused by this problem as well. Ontario, and especially Toronto, is in such a deep hole because of the 73% non-productive immigrants, Ontario/Toronto absorbs at least 50%.

There's only one word for this: disgusting.
